| Valentine's Day Dinner 2006 - The Red TableInspirationThe inspiration for this table began with finding the table covering. It's actually two faux fur throws I sewed together. With such an unusual covering, I tamed it a bit with more traditional placemats. To tie in the fur theme, I found some terrific name place holders with a touch of pink fur. I really wanted this table to scream Valentine's Day, so I pulled out all the stops to bring in all the most romantic colors I could. The napkins are a beautiful shade of pink, and with the trim, gives the table a bit of class. The napkin rings are a bit more symbolic on this table, as they represent the knot of everlasting unity. The main stem of glassware is a gorgeous shade of pink, and with its etchings, compliments the placemats. The other, 'bubble' glassware is a match made in heaven with the dinnerware. With its white base, and playful colored circles, the dinnerware was my most exciting find, as I wanted to find something that contrasted the rest of the table, but still blended in. The centerpiece, as is my philosophy, also contrasts with the main colors of the table, yet has elements of the table colors. Table Ingredients
