Table Settings Suggestions on the InternetI have had an awful lot of success finding just the right piece to create a gorgeous dinner table. It takes a lot of time and patience to pull it all together, and following are the places I had had the most success with. I haven't actually shopped online with them too much, but I have a store fairly close to me where I had had more success than anywhere. It's not your usual store, since they offer things you can't find in other Bed Bath and Beyonds, but they do indeed sell many of the more unusual items online. Crate and Barrel is another really terrific place to find fun, seasonal items with which to set a table. Linens N Things is another place I use to supplement a table. I have not purchased anything online, I have only purchased in their stores. This is an online store only. It is hit-or-miss as far as items for a table, but have actually found some really wonderful pieces. While Target is a great place to shop, especially for seasonal items, they sell things on the 'web only', that you won't ever find in their brick-and-mortar stores. I've had great success finding fun and unusual items, but beware their shipping times. Since they ship in tandem with Amazon, you don't have (at least, thus far) very many options for shipping, such as overnight. I have had some bad luck with items arriving broken and shattered, as well. Not sure why, as it it should depend on the shipper, but just be aware! |
